Uwe Pawelski - When I bought the first car I started researching the Arabella on the internet and left my name in some forums. I was contacted by Uwe from Germany.
Uwe and his wife have traveled around New Zealand, and also have an Arabella they are about to restore. Uwe has been extremely helpful in sourcing parts and advice for me in Germany. I am extremely thankful for his help.

Dave and Gwen Saunders - Dave and Gwen live in Christchurch and have owned Borgwards for many years including Arabella's. Dave has an amazing shed of parts but I think I have cleaned him out of Arabella bits. Two great finds from Dave were some chrome trim and a bumper bar that had sat in the rafters of his garage for 30 years and was in perfect condition.

Hans Compter - Hans lives in the far north of the North Island and owned the blue Arabella. I was facing a lengthy journey to bring it down to Napier. As he was traveling to another part of the North Island he kindly offered to deliver it to me. Hans has owned Borgwards both here and in Europe and along with other cars he owns has a fondnes for them.

Chris Butler - Chris has been a great help in introducing me to contacts he has in the restoration business and his willingnes to share his knowledge. I recently had an enjoyable weekend staying as his guest and talking Borwards and restoration in general. And yes he did give me the parts catalogue and other bits back that I gave him in 2006.
